St. Peter’s Faith Formation Program strives to support families, especially parents, “the primary heralds of the Gospel”, in the formation of their children’s faith and sacrament preparation.
The Faith Formation Program is in session from September through May. Re-registration for children already in the program, as well as families registering for the first time, takes place in April/May prior to the new school year. Children entering the program for the first time must provide proof of Baptism at the time of registration. Late fees will be imposed after September 1st.
Our Faith Formation Program consists of attending Mass together every week and attending one monthly meeting held in our Parish Hall.
Those students who are preparing to receive sacraments in the spring, will come together by grade/age group on the first Sunday of each month from 9:10 a.m. to 10:30 am for the First Communion class and Confirmation class. These students will also attend retreat days and Penance services during the year.
Sometimes, circumstances exist that do not allow for a child to take part in a regular classroom setting. If your child requires special education needs, please call the Office of Faith Formation to discuss/arrange for suitable alternatives. Every possible consideration will be given to help your child grow in his/her faith.
