From the very beginning, the Church has taken special care to minister to the spiritual needs of the sick. This continues today and is an important part of our ministry at St. Peter’s. Our priests are available to visit sick or elderly members of our parish family, whether at home, in the hospital, or in a nursing facility. We can bring Holy Communion and, when needed, celebrate the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Anointing of the Sick. For those who are homebound, regular opportunities for Holy Communion can be arranged through one of our dedicated lay volunteers.
If you are in need of a pastoral visit, or know of someone who is sick or homebound and could benefit from a visit, please let us know. You can contact the parish office at [email protected].
In case of a true pastoral emergency when the parish office is closed, you may call 732-545-6185. for assistance.
